Situated in 1.5 acres, with a land conservancy in its backyard, this house stands tall. The stucco base of rectangular and cylindrical volumes is topped with sweeping horizontal lines of wood clapboards and projecting eaves. There is a play of Classical massing with Prairie style - where vertical elements marked by tall windows, tall chimneys and large brackets  are counter balanced by horizontal fascias and change in siding.
